Monte Carlo Ballet production
Four performances, on 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th July, of Jean-Christophe Maillot's new ballet, Chore. The work is a departure from narrative dance, consisting of short, abstract pieces, in 5 independent sections, and is a collaboration with writer Jean Rouaud, set designer Dominique Drillot, and costume designer Philippe Guillotel. With music by Bach, Bertrand Maillot, Yan Maresz and John Cage, and an improvised drum solo.
Ticket prices from 19 to 33 euros, reductions available for groups, under 25s pay 10 euros.
