Raising awareness about bees
On 21st and 22nd June, APIdays aim to raise the public's awareness of bees and their importance for the environment. Open to all, from 1:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00. Program includes:
- demonstration of extracting, potting and tasting honey
- photo exhibition entitled Abeille, Sentinelle de l'Environnement (the bee, guardian of the environment)
- workshops:
making beeswax candles, fun and educative booklets, discovering pollen and [la propolis], blind tasting 4 honeys, bee masks, [coloriages] - screening of 52 mins documentary called Les Secrets de la Ruche (secrets of the hive) by Sylvie Chabas
- APIdays quiz and draw at 15:30
