Presentation by Jean-Christophe Lasserre, Technical Manager for Firmus France, and Pierre Magnes, Administrator of Firmus SAM, present a procedure that the company has been developing to recycle grey water.
The system has been used since 2005 in the Concordia Franco-Italian Antarctic Station to recycle used water from showers, wash basins, washing machines and swimming pools. Coupled with an energy saving system for heating water, the process can be used to contribute to saving water and energy in buildings.
Firmus has put together a consortium to develop the process further, and partners are also attending, including:
