Canto Ostinato, composed by Simeon ten Holt, is considered to be a "minimalist" composition. Made up of around 100 sections of a few bars that can be repeated ad libitum, performances last from 2 hours to more than a day. Nicolas Horvath's performance will last 7 hours, during which members of the public can come and go.
