FRENCH LANGUAGE conference debate
26th edition of monthly Green Thursdays meeting, on the theme Les Arbres de Monaco et d'Ailleurs (trees of Monaco and elsewhere).

This is the last Jeudi Vert meeting of the season and includes a promenade through city parks towards the Japanese Garden, discovering some remarkable trees along the way. The walk is followed by a talk to raise awareness of the Charte Sur Le Bois (wood charter), which promotes sustainable forest management.
During the evening, the Parcours des Arbres Patrimoniaux de la Principaute (pathway of heritage trees of Monaco) is to be launched, a collaboration between Fondation Prince Albert II (FPA2), the Direction du Tourisme et des Congres, the Direction de l'Amenagement Urbain, and the Societe des Bains de Mer. The project is part of Monaco's committment to fighting deforestation.
