Bartok's one act opera Le Chateau de Barbe-Bleue (Bluebeard's Castle) is based on a French fairy tale by Charles Perrault. The performance is in concert format with French subtitles, with just two characters, Duke Bluebeard and his new wife Judith, sung by Matthias Goerne and Michelle DeYoung. Duration 1 hour.
