International athletics competition
Herculis is part of the Samsung Diamond League and ranked as one of the best athletic meetings in the world. The 2013 event takes place 3 weeks before the IAAF World Championships in Moscow, and is attended by world class athletes competing in:
- Men's 100m, 800m, 3000m, 5000m and 400m hurdles. Also pole vault, triple jump and javelin
- Women's 200m, 400m, 1500m, 3000m steeple chase and the 100m hurdles. Also the high jump, long jump and discus

Events start at 19:00 and end at 22:00.
The meeting is preceded by an annual Tournee des Perchistes (pole vaulting tour) on 18th July from 14:00 on Menton Plage des Sablettes, and the 1000 Metres d'Ouverture (opening 1000 m).
