Exhibition of architecture, urbanism and urbanisation in Monaco
From 19th January to 12th May, plans, photographs, models, and other artefacts portraying the urban and architectural landscape of Monaco from 1940 to the present:
- daily, 10:00-18:00
- Jun-Sep, 11:00-19:00
- single ticket, 6 euros, also allows access to:
Villa Sauber: development of Monte Carlo - free for under 26s, Monegasques, unemployed, and disabled
- free entry on 1st Sunday of the month
The exhibition explores proposals from the 1940s from Eugene Beaudoin, Le Corbusier and Henry Bulgheroni. After WW2, Monaco's territory became increasingly saturated, and some of the utopian solutions from the 1960s are on show, including Monegasque Venice, Features Monte Carlo, Thalassopolis, Artificial Island and Marine Quarter, Satellite Town and Marinarius, Human & Sea Centre, and Public Park & Residences.
