Monaco's children mark Universal Children's Day
From 9:00 to 18:00, several associations with stalls selling items to raise money for children around the world whose fundamental rights are not respected. With the participation of students from College Charles III, also visitors are welcomed to the auditorium by the music club of Lycee Albert 1er, and a buffet is provided by SEGPA students of the Lycee Technique et Hotelier de Monte Carlo.
At 17:00 there's a show by 400 Monaco school children, with song and dance around this year's theme, A Better World (un monde meilleur). Tickets are being sold in the Principality's schools, as are bracelets and tombola tickets. The day closes with the tombola draw.
Funds raised from the 2012 show are to be donated to two associations, the Association Mondiale des Amis de l'Enfance (AMADE), and Interactions & Solidarity.
