Annual charity run starts tomorrow.
This year marks the 10th edition of No Finish Line, organized by the Children & Future Association. Over 9 days and nights, people run, walk, skip, hop or jump around a circuit at Monaco's Port Hercule. Participants can access the course 24 hours a day, and for every kilometre covered, 1.10 euros will be given to help disadvantaged children.
The first No Finish Line was in 1999, organized by the Jeune Chambre Economique (Junior Economic Chamber). Since then, many projects have benefited from the fund-raising run. Last year was a record year, with 4484 participants and 115,298 km covered. For 2009, the organizers hope that several thousand feet will pound 120,000 km around the quayside of the port to raise 132,000 euros.
If you haven't yet entered, it's not too late. You can turn up on Saturday, pay the entry fee of 12 euros (plus 10 euros deposit for the chip to measure distances) and get walking.
