What God thinks of money (1)

This week's newsletter is somewhat shorter than usual as we've been on our travels, enjoying some excellent ales at the Great British Beer Festival.
What's new?
On Friday evening, Monaco FC faces Toulouse, but you won't be able to get a ticket, as the match is to be played without spectators. The following morning sees the start of 2 days sailing in the Mediterranean for yachts taking part in the Monaco Portofino regatta.
Continuing this week is the international amateur theatre festival, Mondial du Theatre. Each participating group is performing in their own language in one of Monaco's theatres, and on Saturday evening, Wolverhampton's Central Youth Theatre from the UK takes to the stage in the Salle Garnier.
Finally, Mrs maBoum could hardly contain her excitement earlier in the week, as she partied in Rascasse and Jimmy'z with George Clooney and Bono.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: InterNations networking.
Friday: Laidback DJ set.
Saturday: Pelagia jazz.
Sunday: Last organ recital of summer.
Coming up next week, Vaudano on stage, and a vision of the future.
For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is by American writer Dorothy Parker, born this day 1893. Known for her witty observations, the full quote reads: If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to.
