It's time to hang up the stockings by the chimney, hoping that Father Christmas will fill them with everything you've asked for.

What's new?

Monaco Dance Forum ends on Saturday with a performance of Jean-Christophe Mailot's Vers Un Pays Sage. Dance fans will only have to wait another week before ballet returns in the form of Maillot's Lac. If you're more concerned with the present, and how to keep the kids occupied during school holidays, try educational activities at the Oceanographic Museum, opportunities to meet Santa on the final few shopping days before Christmas, and lots of seasonal entertainment at the Christmas village.

This week saw the opening of Ni Box's rooftop ice bar, where adults can enjoy a chilled vodka cocktail, and kids can warm up with a hot chocolate. Whatever the temperature, we love chocolate and were very happy to hear the news about Pierre Marcolini opening a chocolaterie in Monaco. Here's hoping for some delicious goodies in our Christmas stockings.

What's in the diary...

Thursday: Opera with an impossible dream.
Friday: Music for the end of the world.
Saturday: Princess on ice, teens get fresh.
Sunday: Mini car race, spiritual Christmas music.

Coming up next week, cracking Bolshoi ballet on the night before Christmas, happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!
