Christmas is coming....
There's just over a week to go now before Christmas. Where will you be spending yours?
What's new?
What's your tipple? This evening two of the Thursday regulars are hosting drink themed aperos. Capocaccia has an Absolument Absinthe evening, adding a version of the famously mind-bending green liqueur to its usual offering of drinks, buffet and music by DJ Miguel. For a more traditionally coloured apero, I Briganti's soiree is dedicated to French and Italian red wine, cocktails at 7 euros, "immense" free buffet and music from DJ Ricky. An alternative to the usual Thursday apero can be found at Black Diamond with its Cabaret Burlesq that promises a free cocktail for the ladies, and out of the ordinary, eccentric entertainment.
A few doors away from Flashman's, the Montblanc boutique has opened and is inspiring the Fairmont Hotel to create some festive food. And over at the Grimaldi Forum, the transformation of Karement into Alain Llorca's new lunchtime cafe is complete.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: A feverish night out for Latin American lovers.
Friday: Paganistic rituals, and dark magic, it's not heavy metal.
Saturday: Cool Chinese entertainment, then in the Moods for flamenco.
Sunday: Traditional music and sporting bravado - both reflect the spirit of Christmas.
