Do you think summer might possibly have arrived? About time too!

What's new?

If you were hoping for a quiet snooze in the sunshine at Larvotto Beach this weekend, you're out of luck. The FxPro Monte Carlo Beach Volley competition combines sports activity and partying during the next two evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. You'll also hopefully find a tidy seashore as the Monaco Clean Beaches campaign aims to rid the ground of cigarette stubs by distributing ashtrays to sun-bathing smokers every weekend this month, and every day throughout July and August.

Another outdoor event, Monacology, continues to promote environmental awareness until Saturday, whilst the Monte Carlo Television Festival closes this evening with the Golden Nymphs award ceremony.

Looking ahead, Monaco Open Air Cinema's program for 20th June to 2nd August has been published, with the usual mix of 3D action, comedy and drama.

What's in the diary...
