Thank Heaven .... (1)

Hope your rentree has been smooth. Ours has been busy as everyone is updating their events calendars for the autumn.

What's new?

There's help at hand during the weekend for those of you who need to refurnish and redecorate, as the new Salon Destination Habitat et Decoration takes place in Fontvieille. At Port Hercule, Monaco Classic Week continues, with some pretty impressive boats and yachts moored up ready to take part in regattas tomorrow and Saturday in the bay.

It's your last chance to visit the Picasso exhibition this weekend, as well as the last movie screening at Monaco Open Air Cinema. The doors close on Sunday with a traditional "surprise" film, comedy crime caper We're the Millers.

Finally, Flashman's Cafe has re-opened following work that's transformed the bar into a restaurant. The menu features the usual Italo-French style cuisine that's found throughout Monaco, but we haven't visited it yet. Let us know if you get there before us.

What's in the diary...

Thursday: Beefeater and the Butler.
Friday: Zelos welcomes Ibiza.
Saturday: Duels for friendship.
Sunday: Monaco v Lorient.

Coming up next week, Ireland's road to recovery, cyclists recover road in Monaco, and wine tasting at Maya Bay.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
