maBoum's guide to culture, music and parties in Monaco.
Congratulations to all our Spanish amigos who took home the World Cup after Sunday's final of the football competition. A less well-known tournament ends at Monte Carlo Country Club this week, and looking ahead to next Wednesday, there's more sport of the Herculean kind. Yesterday Monaco's summer exhibition on Japanese culture started, and there are lots of activities and events being organized with a similar theme this week. Free summer concerts continue in Square Gastaud, or if you prefer big names and big concerts, Norah Jones, Mark Knopfler and Erykah Badu are on stage at the Salle des Etoiles. Finally, laugh your socks off at the Riviera Comedy Club, but note that it's tonight, and not the usual Sunday evening affair.
