Thanks to everyone who's contacted us with new events this week. Keep checking the website as we update our listings several times a day.
What's new?
Another outlet is to join the stretch of restaurants and bars at Fontvieille port. Called The Key, the new place will be in the Grand Large building close to Ship & Castle, Gerhard's, Casa del Gelato and Beefbar. More details shortly.
On the other side of town, Cafe Llorca is going to organize regular afterwork parties for "beautiful people". The weekly soirees are to take place every Thursday from 7pm to 1am with DJ and entertainment.
Finally, our poor restaurant experience unfortunately continues. Like most people, we have a soft spot for furry, four-legged friends and welcome them with a scratch behind the ears or a pat on the nose. We then wash our hands before handling food, unlike the waiters at two Monaco restaurants we visited this week.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: Live music Before and during aperos.
Friday: Woman turns tables at Brasserie.
Saturday: Monaco welcomes Corsicans.
Sunday: Big screen biography, comedy or crime.
Coming up next week, Valentine's Day - for romantics everywhere.
For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is from a speech to Occupy Wall Street protestors by economist Joseph E Stiglitz, born this day 1943. He was commenting on a distorted economy that socializes losses whilst privatizing gains.
