What's new?
Everyone's returned to work, the kids are back at school, and the lull in the events calendar makes a quiet start to the year. Not so for Monaco's newest restaurant, Bouchon, which has opened in the premises next door to Sass Cafe. The enterprise is another of Monaco Restaurant Group's businesses, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 7am to 11pm. Its traditional, tiled interior felt cosy and relaxing when we visited for a drink one evening during the week. Tables quickly filled up with diners, so reserve if you want to try the food.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: Traditional 12th night feasting.
Friday: New Year's Eve all over again.
Saturday: Party all night with Miss Cecyls.
Sunday: Two musical Russians.
