Today is Halloween, tomorrow is a holiday, so tonight we'll be partying! If you are too, check out our handy, horrid Halloween guide and have a wicked time.

What's new?

There was good news this week for the Principality's restaurants, which have experienced an increase in sales over last year, due to October's warm weather. In addition, Monaco FC's 2-1 defeat of Lyon now sees the team neck and neck with with Paris St Germain at the top of French Ligue 1.

Monaco's Latin American community are expecting a few changes to their program of events now that new Director Jean-Pierre Fonteneau has settled in at Maison de l'Amerique Latine. Foreign residents of all nationalities are once again enjoying happy cocktails every Wednesday from 18:30 at the CREM clubhouse, and younger residents are also soon to have their very own private club. Located on the 1st floor of Ni Box, and commanding a 350 euros monthly subscription, this highly desirable, multi-lingual meeting place for kids aged 1-8, is perhaps aimed at networking parents rather than toddlers.

(1) This week's quote is the first line of a traditional Scottish prayer with a Halloween theme. It continues "And long-leggedy beasties, And things that go bump in the night, Good Lord deliver us!"
