Hallelujah! The weather's warmed up.
What's new?
The kid's are on holiday next week, many of them heading for the hills and a bit of skiing. If yours are staying in town, remember the ice rink is still active, and the Nice and Menton Carnavals have now started. There are also plenty of things to do at the Centre de la Jeunesse Princesse Stephanie, tho' your kids have to be registered to take part.
Just down the road from the railway station's main entrance, the small snack bar Cuisiniere, is about to change hands. Its lease has been taken on by a new company called Roberto Corona Cuisine, due to open in the first couple of weeks of March, with a takeaway and delivery service. Roberto Corona was chef de cuisine at the Yacht Club for a number of years.

(1) This week's quote is attributed to Beethoven, who was referring to the music of George Frideric Handel, born this day 1685. Beethoven went even further in his praise, describing Handel as the greatest composer who ever lived.
