Hurrah for the longest day of the year and the first day of summer.

What's new?

This weekend is a festive one, starting today with the annual Fete de la Musique. On Saturday and Sunday, Monegasques get together to celebrate St John's Festival, on the first evening in Monaco Ville, then at Place des Moulins on the second night. It's an opportunity to discover a Monaco tradition that marks the summer solstice with local food, music and dancing. Don't forget too that tonight is the first of five performances of the musical Chicago, and tomorrow night you can watch the first of five screenings of the movie The Dictator at Monaco Open Air Cinema.

What's in the diary...

Thursday: super start to a yachting rendez-vous.
Friday: celebrate an Indian summer and a Scandinavian sommer.
Saturday: RnB groove at the beach.
Sunday: an afternoon in Chicago.

Coming up next week, Brazilian soul, international networking.
