What's new?
Sporting Cinema has announced that it's installing 3D technology to persuade movie-goers to stay in Monaco rather than visit neighbouring Nice. Here at maBoum we enjoy a good film but so far haven't been that excited by 3D. Going out to see a movie is a social experience, and having to wear large 3D glasses tends to make us feel isolated from the friends we're sitting with. In other countries we've visited film theatres that have seats grouped around tables, multi-seat sofas, a bar where you can buy beer or a glass of wine, and where each night there's a different show. We'd like the Sporting experience to be a bit more like the Open Air Cinema. What do you think?
