A clown too many (1)
Hope you're not suffering from the sudden cold snap. We had to dig out our wooly hats and gloves, but at least there's snow on the mountains now.
What's new?
We certainly don't envy competitors sailing in this weekend's Primo Cup competition. The chilly weather makes indoor activity more attractive, so take advantage of free entry to Monaco's Nouveau Musee National on Sunday and visit the new exhibition at Villa Paloma.
maBoum's policy is to promote good food, service, atmosphere and value for money in Monaco. Unfortunately that's not possible for a restaurant we visited for the first time this week. We're sorry to report that rude service is alive and kicking in the Principality. What a shame that a meal out can be so easily spoiled by an arrogant waiter and poorly organized front of house staff.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: Thanks again for the jazz.
Friday: Charity sale for a mission.
Saturday: New Generation of clowns and acrobats.
Sunday: The world created by music.
Coming up next week, China Tang at Cosmo, charity screening of Kiwi comedy film, and string quartet concert.
For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is the title of the autobiography of English comedian Les Dawson, born this day 1934.
