The nights are drawing in and the weather is changing. Time to get out your warm clothes.

What's new?

The cooler temperatures herald a change of menus for Monaco restaurants. You'll find gourmet autumn dishes on offer at Elsa, low calorie food at Columbus Brasserie, and lobster thermidor at the Riviera Marriott.

Monte Carlo''s hospitality workers have been keeping warm with plenty of exercise. Our congratulations go to Hotel de Paris, which took 2nd place in the Inter-Hotel Raid competition, and a "better luck next time" to Alain Ducasse's Louis XV football team, which came 7th out of 14 in the recent Star Chef's Tournament.

Finally, there are still a few days left to dig out and donate your classic movie DVDs to building a library for future Ethiopan film directors.

What's in the diary...

Thursday: An Irish Field.
Friday: Running Birds' acoustic rock.
Saturday: Philanthropic Pastor party.
Sunday: Orchestra and piano performance.

Coming up next week, two ladies' lunches, glamorous and artistic, or tax savvy for professionals.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
