Our congratulations this week go to the teams of Monte Carlo Bay and Hotel de Paris, which took 1st and 5th place in the annual Inter Hotels Raid at the end of September.
What's new?
Dramatic dance is on the program this weekend, with shows, classes and parties at Monte Carlo International Tango Festival. Expect to see more modern moves in the centre of town as Jimmy'z takes up its winter quarters near Place du Casino tomorrow.
Tout l'Art du Cinema announced its program this week, and we're looking forward to catching some classic movies over the coming months. Monaco's Archives Audiovisuelles has chosen the theme of happiness for its Mardis du Cinema screenings that form the majority of the event.
Finally, hot on Starbucks' heels, more businesses are expected to take up residence in the Jardins d'Apolline before the end of 2013. Nicois chain Emilie's Cookies is to provide competition for the American coffee shop giant, and several fashion and clothes stores are opening, including Popsy MC, Atelier 22 and Sport Plus. Special occasions supplier Celebration, men's gift shop Mylord, and Monaco Arts et Dance school all have a space, and last but not least, the Apple reseller store.
