Distinguish what is worth reading (1)

Have you noticed that the evenings are getting lighter? It must mean that spring isn't too far away.

What's new?

The manager of Vecchia Firenze and I Briganti is set to expand his empire again. After taking on Huit et Demi last year (see maBoum Newsletter 14 July 2011), the Dolce Vita is soon to come under his control too.

Monaco's new coupon service launched this week, offering deals in bars and restaurants. So far, Monacoupon has offered us 2 for 1 prices on glasses of champagne at Explorers Pub, and cocktails in Black Legend. Check the website to find out how it works: www.monacoupon.com.

Finally, we're giving a mention to one of our favourite dining places this week, O Duplex. What we like about this Italian restaurant are the simple dishes, good quality wines by the glass, and friendly service (note: we don't take money for advertising).

What's in the diary...

Thursday: How to celebrating life with words.
Friday: Pooch's photo shoot, Bow Wow!
Saturday: Kids get crafty for Carnaval.
Sunday: Musical brunch, acrobatic sports demonstration.

Coming up next week, kids' carnaval, Japanese film and culture, Thai food and French wine.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
