School's out for 2 weeks after classes tomorrow, but don't worry. There's plenty of entertainment in the Christmas village to keep kids occupied.

What's new?

It's not long before Christmas now and we've had several people contact us with ideas for gifts, which we'd like to share with you. First, two books with a Monaco theme. "Noel a Monaco" is a bilingual French/Monegasque children's book about Christmas that's just been published. Food loving adults might prefer Alain Ducasse's "J'aime Monaco, ma Mediterranee en 170 adresses".  Finally, how about a helicopter ride with Santa Claus? Heli Air Monaco are offering 5 minute flights for 30 euros from 21st to 28th December.

Looking ahead to New Year's Eve, our dining and partying guide was posted this week. It's listed by price, with the most expensive first. As we receive more menus from restaurants, we'll add the information, so check back regularly.

What's in the diary...

Thursday: A Twist to Oliver's story.
Friday: Local rock with Water Pipe Cult.
Saturday: Cinderella on Ice.
Sunday: Christmas swim, carols and concert.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
