Grab your shillelagh, drink a pint or two of Guinness, and put Father Ted on the telly.
What's new?
Yes, this weekend we're celebrating all things Irish, and specifically Saint Patrick. On Friday, Monaco Ireland Arts Society raises the curtain on festivities with an evening celebrating George Bernard Shaw. Prize winning Irish choir Cor Mhaigh Eo takes up the refrain on Saturday, and on the day itself, Brasserie de Monaco is offering a free drink to any customer wearing green. Also this weekend the Principality's spring music festival, Printemps des Arts opens, and the Beausoleil Chamber Music Festival enters its second week. Looking ahead, organizers of the Rose Ball have announced that Rita Ora will be entertaining revellers, alongside rapper Theophilus London.
Finally, raise a glass to Dominique Milardi, who is representing the Principality in the World's Best Sommelier competition taking place in Tokyo from 27th to 29th March. Milardi is chef sommelier of the Meridien Beach Plaza, and VP of the Association des Sommeliers de Monaco.
