How are your New Year resolutions coming along?
What's new?
On Tuesday evening MonacoUSA's networking happy hour gave the stage to charity Peace and Sport. We had a great time and heard how cricket and more recently rugby, are becoming popular in places like Afghanistan. Closer to home, Monaco Yacht Club's 2013 program of sporting events begins this weekend with Optimist Team Racing, which brings teenagers together for training and team building. Visiting Russian youths are finding the weather quite balmy, whereas first-time visitors from Tanzania are shivering with the cold.
Monaco's mediatheque is hoping to organize photography classes (in French) and has asked for anyone who's interested to attend a meeting. Businesses keen to combine networking with entertainment should make a note of Azur Production's celebrity lunch dates, special guests yet to be announced. And finally, there's a new exhibit at the Oceanographic Museum that lets you take a journey through the world's oceans.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: InterNations networking.
Friday: another New Year party.
Saturday: re-runs for Nemo and Piaf.
Sunday: a great novel on screen.
Coming up next week, football and motors, music and art.
