A host of golden daffodils (1)
It's a quiet weekend for events, so we'll probably be trying out a new restaurant and going to the cinema.
What's new?
A new manager is moving into Pizza'art restaurant in Port Hercule - more details shortly. Also in the Condamine area, as reported in our Feb 16 newsletter, Dolce Vita restaurant's transformation into Vecchia Firenze 2 has begun with a new sign draped over the terrace.
This weekend sees the re-opening of two luxury hotels and their restaurants as a precursor to spring. SBM's Monte Carlo Beach opens for business tomorrow, and on Saturday, Cap Estel's La Table de Patrick Raingeard, previously chef at the Port Palace's rooftop Mandarine.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: Music with burger or buffet.
Friday: Iron Lady on the silver screen.
Saturday: Big party at Brasserie.
Sunday: Exciting scenes at Safe House.
Coming up next week, more activities for kids, Italian cinema and violin music.
For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is a line from Wordsworth's Daffodils poem, which we thought appropriate for Saint David's Day. Saint David is the patron saint of Wales, and the daffodil is the Welsh national flower.
