How did it get so late so soon?
Winter has arrived, and as Dr. Seuss so astutely observed, it's night before its afternoon, December is here before it's June. My goodness how the time has flewn.
What's new?
The Christmas Market starts today with stalls selling crafts, festive food and warming drinks, one of which is managed by La Villa restaurant. MC2 is closed for a couple of weeks' break, while La Rose des Vents' holiday is over. Zest is now open on Sunday evenings and as a special treat next Tuesday, it's hosting a wine tasting evening by Monte Carlo Wine.
Following the successful completion of No Finish Line, more fund raising events are seeking your support this weekend - check out the Telethon Village and activities, fumble through some jumble, or bid for a special Christmas tree.
What's in the diary...
- Thursday: Tasting wine, then dining with wine.
- Friday: Brains or brawn? Both celebrate non-violence.
- Saturday: Sliding towards pop and soul.
- Sunday: Ho ho ho for kids and ha ha ha for adults.
