An Ugly, Lovely Town (1)
Don't forget to turn your clocks back this weekend for an extra hour in bed.
What's new?
Buddha Bar has reason to be cheerful this week since its diamond rating has been raised from 4 to 5, putting the SBM lounge bar among the top ranked restaurants of the Principality. Another SBM property, the Hotel de Paris is also celebrating being voted top hotel in Southern Europe in Conde Nast's Readers' Choice Awards. Finally, there's a new place called Le Cave de Max just over the border in Cap d'Ail, a few metres from the BP Garage. Watch this space for more information.
What's in the diary...
Thursday: Gourmet evening at Cosmopolitan.
Friday: James Bond's alter ego?
Saturday: Classical teen performance.
Sunday: Enjoy the rides.
Coming up next week, wicked party, followed by a day to recover.
For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, born this day in 1914. It continues, "crawling, sprawling ... by the side of a long and splendid curving shore. This sea-town was my world," and relates to Swansea, not Monaco.
