Flavio Briatore's new establishment
Italian businessman Flavio Briatore's new business is scheduled to open 23rd May, taking advantage of the influx of partygoers for Grand Prix.
Preparations for Briatore's nightclub have speeded up over the past week, following the Italian's acquisition of the Life Club lease in March. Builders and decorators have been working overtime in order to make sure the new venue, called Twiga, is ready for this weekend.
Future guests can enjoy a specially designed lounge area on the pontoon, where Italian style aperitifs are served every evening. There's a restaurant serving light, refined cuisine, a club and a shisha bar. Dress codes and ambiance are based on Briatore's Twiga Beach Club in Forte dei Marmi in Tuscany.
Twiga forms part of the business man's growing number of interests in Monaco, including the Billionaire Club and Cipriani restaurant.
If all goes to plan, French DJ and producer David Vendetta has been booked to provide music for the first party on Friday.
