Special food and drink to mark a special day.
Fauchon and Laduree are celebrating the marriage of Prince Albert II and Charlene Wittstock by producing limited edition treats. Fauchon's mini eclair is decorated with the red and white lozenges of the Grimaldi coat of arms. It's flavoured with Bourbon vanilla and Carros strawberries.
Laduree has created two limited edition macaroons, flavoured with guava and raspberry-aniseed. They're presented in a little ivory and gold box decorated with the names of the bride and groom.
Both sweet treats are available from 2nd July at the Fauchon and Laduree boutiques in the Metropole Centre.
Over at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, Blue Gin bar is mixing a new cocktail created for the occasion. From 30th June to 31st August, you can buy the "My Lady by Monaco", which contains an intoxicating mixture of:
- vodka
- champagne
- crushed fresh raspberries
- lemon juice
- liquid cane sugar
- frozen strawberry liqueur
- frozen creme de coco
What better way to drink to the health of the happy couple?
