Superyacht owners get set to party in Monaco next weekend.
Superyacht owners from all over the world are gathering with friends and families to have some fun in Port Hercule starting on Thursday. The Rendezvous was established in 1990, and is organized by Boat International Media, the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) and a number of leading shipyards. Guests have a packed schedule of events with cocktail parties, balls and dinners, as well as lots of activities on the water, and of course on the yachts.
Talking of which, the superyachts that will be moored up on the Quai des Etats Unis from 24th to 27th June are:
- Phocea, 75m - host yacht and base for all Rendezvous guests
- Millenium, 37m
- Galactica, 43.72m
- Ingot, 47m
- Benetti 01, 50m
- Trident, 65m
- Icon, 62.5m
- Linda Lou, 60m
- Blue Eyes, 60m
- Sea Force One, 54m
- Happy Days, 50m
- H20me, 44m
- 4H, 38.5m
- Go, 39m
One of the highlights this year is a planned mass exodus of superyachts from the port. Back in the Principality, guests are invited to a Diamonds and White Rendezvous Party at the Monte Carlo Beach Club. For female guests who don't enjoy messing about on the water, a special ladies' luncheon is being organized, followed by spa and beauty treatments. Finally there's the Bal D'Oceana on Friday 25 June at the Hotel de Paris. The ball raises money for Oceana, which campaigns to protect the world's oceans, and the tickets are available to everyone, not just superyacht owners.
