Its family friendly restaurant is being exported to the United Arab Emirates.
A first Stars n Bars franchise opens during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend, right next to the F1 circuit on Yas Island. Monaco locals who visit the new restaurant should feel at home, with similar menu items such as steaks and burgers, American style service, and an interior in keeping with the original's international sports theme. There are also games for kids and sports TV for adults.
The restaurant is taking on a promotional role too, with sections set aside for non-stop audio and video presentations of Monaco events and humanitarian work. There's also support for Prince Albert's environmental work, with the site using eco-friendly materials where possible, and procedures in place to save energy and water, and to encourage recycling.
A second restaurant opens soon in Dubai, but owner Monte Carlo Stars Group isn't stopping there. It has plans to expand around the world, promoting a positive image of Monaco through its joint ventures and franchises.
