Opportunities to practice French, English and other languages
Many people move to Monaco with a little bit of French, but find few opportunities to practice speaking other than when ordering food and drink. Now, there's a new networking event starting that gives you the chance to speak French socially. The first Speakeasy Experience takes place on 19th June, with plans to hold the event each Tuesday from 19:00 to 20:30 at Stars n Bars 1st floor Star Deck. Of course, there are many locals of French or Italian background who want to try out their English skills, and for that, Anita Di Sotto has founded Chit Chat Cafe. Launched a year ago, the conversation group is celebrating its first anniversary with a cocktail at Zest on 4th September, when the club is also starting weekly informal gatherings for conversation in French and English, as well as several other languages including Russian, Chinese and Arabic:
