Fast way to help others.
The Monaco Run 2012 takes place on 18th March and it's an opportunity for many to challenge themselves physically. Some of Monaco's clubs would like to see runners participating in order to help the Societe Saint Vincent de Paul local charity.
The Societe Saint Vincent de Paul helps the disadvantaged, such as elderly people with no family, single mothers and unemployed by collecting donations, clothes and furniture to distribute to those in need. Monaco Run 2012 participants are being encouraged by the Comite des Clubs Service Internationaux de Monaco (CCSIM) to find sponsors and raise money for the charity. Each sponsored runner receives an orange Je Sais Pourquoi Je Cours (I know why I'm running) bracelet and helps people less fortunate than themselves. If you're taking part in the Monaco Relay, you can register with the association for 30 euros, 15 euros of which will be donated the needy, and you'll receive 2 t-shirts and 2 bracelets.
For more information, and to register as a sponsored runner, visit the organizer's website: Je Sais Pourquoi Je Cours.
If you're not involved in the event you can still do your bit for the charity by buying a bracelet at the post office for 3 euros. Alternatively you could just send a cheque made out to CCSIM to:
