A poppy in every lapel.
The Royal British Legion celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. Founded in 1921, it continues to help around 160,000 current and past servicemen, women and their families each year. The charity offers not only financial and practical aid, but also emotional support.
As we approach November 11th, the date on which the first world war ended in 1918, we remember those who have been killed in armed conflict. The Royal British Legion launches its poppy appeal at this time each year and we've listed below the usual places where you can buy a poppy. Direct donations are also welcome.
