Best European hotel awards.
Several of Monaco's hotels have been nominated for 2011 Villegiature prizes. A jury of 21 journalists vote by secret ballot for the best hotels in various categories, and this year the Principality's top notch hotels have been nominated for the following European prizes:
- best terrace, Monte Carlo Beach and Fairmont
- best welcome and service, Metropole
- best bar, Metropole's Eddy Montana and Monte Carlo Bay
- best breakfast, Monte Carlo Beach
- best spa, Monte Carlo Bay
- best resort, Monte Carlo Bay
In previous years, the Monte Carlo Beach was named Best Charming Hotel in Europe (2010), the Fairmont Hotel's Willow Stream Spa won Best European Hotel Spa (2010), and Monte Carlo Bay's Cinq Mondes Spa was awarded Best European Hotel Spa (2009). The 2011 winners are revealed in a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe Paris Hilton on 14th November.
