Monte Carlo Philarmonic Orchestra backs Nathalie Manfrino
Nathalie Manfrino has just released a new album, with musical backing provided by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo (OPMC), conducted by Michel Plasson. Following the success of French Heriones, Manfrino's new disc marks the centenary of Massenet's death. On it, the soprano sings a number of opera arias by Massenet, who lived and worked in Monaco for a while, and was decorated with the Ordre de Saint Charles by Prince Albert 1er.
The OPMC's next concert is a Midi Musical (music at mid-day) with the Quatuor SLAM playing music by Bartok and Chausson.
The album is available through Amazon.fr: Nathalie Manfrino, Meditations.
