Six Monegasque athletes travel to London.
The Monaco flag will be proudly flying next week as six sports men and women represent the Principality at the 2012 Olympic Games:
- Angelique Trinquier, 100 m back stroke
- Herve Banti, triathlon
- Brice Etees, 800 m
- Damien Desprat-Lerale, sailing
- Mathias Raymond, rowing (sculls)
- Yann Siccardi, judo, extra lightweight -60 kg
Angelique Trinquier will carry the flag during the opening ceremony.
If you're visiting London during the Olympics and are a member of the foreign residents' club (CREM), you can take advantage of premises that have been made available by the Chambre de Developpement Economique (CDE). The Monaco House can be reserved for organizing meetings or taking time out to relax during the Games. Space is limited, so access to the facility is available by prior arrangement only:
