Late opening coincides with fireworks competition.
Monaco's Oceanographic Museum is opening late on the following three Thursdays:
- 19th July
- 8th August
- 25th August
Each date is also a night when you can see one of the remaining entries in this year's musical fireworks competition.
Entry to the museum is from 19:00 to midnight and costs 7 euros, half the usual adult price. Before the fireworks, you can visit the aquarium, with more than 6000 sea creatures, as well as the shark lagoon. The museum is also currently home to around 60 works of art by Marc Quinn.
You'll also have the opportunity to check out the refurbished rooftop, with its 360 degrees view, Tortoise Island, a children's play area complete with fake whale skeleton, and a lounge terrace. Where better to view the fireworks?
