Ni Tapas to close

Changes ahead for Monaco's Spanish style tapas restaurant.

A report published in Monaco Hebdo today says that Ni Tapas will close its doors at the end of July. There's no information yet as to the new style of cuisine that may replace the Spanish tapas, however General Manager Richard Maria says that until it closes, it's business as usual.

There are rumours that Italian businessman Flavio Briatore is taking over the site to open another Cipriani's. His Mayfair restaurant fell foul of UK trademark law in 2008 and was forced to change it's name to C London in 2010. Although Briatore is said to be seen regularly at table in Ni Tapas, nothing has been announced officially.
