Schedule for August and September: Monaco Open Air Cinema Aug-Sep 2011.
Monaco's Open Air Cinema starts its summer schedule on 23rd June. Now that the evenings are warmer it's a great way to enjoy an action movie. And so far the program includes a great deal of action. There's a different film every night throughout July and August, with some older ones from last year (Stone, London Boulevard, The Debt), premiers (Transformers 3, Harry Potter 7, Bad Teacher), and some movies in 3D (Pirates of the Caribbean, Kung Fu Panda, Transformers 3).
All seats have cushions and tables for snacks and drinks that you can buy from the cinema kiosk. We're awaiting confirmation of prices for 2011, so here are last year's prices as a guide:
- Normal seats 11 euros
- Lounger seats 16 euros (to be confirmed)
- Students and children 8 euros
- Normal 10 movie pass 85 euros
- Lounger 10 move pass 130 euros
Doors open at 20:45, program starts at 21:30 and the feature film at 22:00. From 1st August, movies start earlier at 21:40. Also note that on evenings when the Musical Fireworks Competition takes place, the features are put back to 22:40.
