French version of TV show to be broadcast on Thursday.
French television viewers are in for a gastronomic treat on Thursday, when the latest episode of MasterChef takes place in the kitchens of the Fairmont Monte Carlo. For many of the amateur chefs on the show, it will be their first experience of working in a professional kitchen.
In last week's program, contestants were asked to prepare a savoury dish using a microwave. This week, Fairmont chef Philippe Joannes gives the contestants a team test that pits the women against the men, as they create a starter and a main dish. Two contestants will be eliminated during the evening.
Joel Robuchon is also scheduled to appear in a future episode of the 3rd series. Filming took place earlier in the year in Metropole Monte Carlo Hotel, and included scenes in the chef's eponymous restaurant.
