Classes for social networkers, amateurs and kids.
We can't all be as confident in the kitchen as Monte Carlo's starred chefs, but if you enjoy cooking and want to improve your culinary skills, there are plenty of experts in the Principality willing to share their secrets.
David Holis combines private cooking classes with a dinner party. Specializing in Thai cuisine, his next soiree takes place tomorrow evening, 23rd October. The event takes place at a private apartment in Cap d'Ail, where you'll learn how to make BBQ'd Thai chicken and pork satay, two curries, and a sweet and sour cucumber and chilli salad:

If patisseries and desserts are more to your taste, make your way to Ni Box, where Noemie Honiat is holding classes. The junior French desserts champion of 2011 and candidate for Top Chef 2012 is passing on her knowledge to adults and mature children (able to use a knife):
- 100 euros for adults, 70 euros for children
- every Wednesday from 18:00 to 20:00, followed by a tasting
- maximum 15 people
You can choose from a number of themes such as fish, meat, poultry, vegetables, pastries, chocolates and sweets. Noemie also organizes patisserie classes for children of all ages:
- 35 euros per child
- Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday, from 13:30 to 14:00
- maximum 30 children

Finally, chef Marcel Ravin of Monte Carlo Bay has started his all-day master classes again. Running throughout winter, the 215 euros price for one person includes instruction, followed by a cocktail and dinner for student and one invited guest.
