A new way to enjoy whisky.
Novotel Cafe, the bar of Novotel Monte Carlo has introduced a newfangled way to drink your whisky.
The whisky brand Glenfiddich has collaborated with designer Philippe Di Meo to create something called a Glenfiddich Steeler. Made of stainless steel, and manufactured by the Orfevrerie d'Anjou, the steeler can be filled with the zest of fresh lemon or grapefruit, and is then plunged into the whisky. Apparently the zest brings out the spicy notes of Glenfiddich's 12 years old single malt.
Aimed at "les amateurs", it'd be interesting to know what the experts at the Monte Carlo Whisky Society think.
