Following our report about Yule logs at Met'Cafe and Meridien, we have news of more sweet delights to tickle your taste buds during the Christmas festivities.
The Atelier du Glacier has a trio of ice-cream logs, made to order:
- Rocher gourmand, flavoured with Ferrero Rocher and a hazlenut mousse heart
- mandarin and dark chocolate sorbets
- Italian opera, Avola almonds, Bronte pistachio, Venetian nougat, Italian hazlenuts and Tuscan pine nuts
For something savoury the Metropole's lobby bar has extended the hotel's British Christmas theme to its menu. You can order roast beef and mustard sandwiches, fish and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce, or shepherd's pie.
