VO films in Monaco.
Just two movies at the Cinema Sporting this week. Tamara Drewe, the "English middle class" comedy is on several more times, and you can see Jennifer Aniston in an American rom-com that scores 5.9 on IMDb. But the real treat for film buffs is a special screening of what some consider to be the first true film noir, Double Indemnity. Released in 1944, directed by Billy Wilder and starring Barbara Stanwyck, the film is being shown as part of a short American film noir season at the public library. It scores a high 8.6 on the IMDb website.
